715 Park Avenue

This project, many years in the making  involved the full renovation of very dated residential corridors.  We drew inspiration for our overall design and material selections from building precedents found in the lobby.  The original hallway featured dull, beige walls, worn carpeting, and insufficient lighting creating a narrow and uninviting atmosphere.

In the redesigned space, we introduced a sophisticated material palette of soft neutral tones, wood paneling, and elegant textures. Updated LED cove lighting with integrated emergency battery backup now provides bright, even illumination that enhances both the aesthetic and safety of the corridors. The outdated carpet was replaced with high-quality, solution dyed nylon flooring in a contemporary pattern to improve both durability and style.

Additional touches like custom hardware, signage and solution dyed carpet, new wall sconces, inset mirrors, and tailored furnishings create a more refined experience for residents and visitors alike. The transformation not only modernizes the space but significantly elevates the overall perception of continuity in design through all public spaces.
