The Breevort

New Desk

As a first step to prioritizing the use of building resources for renovations of this 310-resident building, we developed a Master Plan to address staff and service functions, resident amenities, and aesthetic upgrades for the first and lower levels. The first phase of this plan was the reorganization of cramped concierge, mail and package areas, which were in sharp contrast to the building's gracious lobby. We worked closely with the Board, staff, and a communications/security consultant to develop a design that facilitates communication between residents and staff, improves staff efficiency and building security, and sets the tone for future lobby upgrades by using classic details, materials and finishes that are fresh but respectful of the building's original design vocabulary.
