Eric Pitts

Associate

Eric brings more than 20 years of experience in architecture and construction to ECA, which he joined in 2022. At the firm, he supports the review of Cooperative and Condominium alteration projects, applying his expertise in constructability to ensure that design intent is executed efficiently and effectively. Eric works closely with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to identify real-world solutions in the field and streamline the construction process.

He began his career designing retail and mixed-use developments across the country, gaining hands-on experience addressing construction challenges in diverse climates and site conditions. His expertise later led him to oversee complex healthcare construction projects for Doctors Without Borders. He also designed and built a traveling exhibition advocating for refugee rights, with installations in major cities, including on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

Based in New York for nearly a decade, Eric has contributed to numerous residential and institutional projects, including accessibility upgrades and building envelope restorations for Local Law 11 compliance. He is a registered architect in New York, Texas, and California and is a LEED AP professional. Eric studied architecture at Mississippi State University and the University of Texas at Arlington and serves as a regular guest lecturer at NYU Langone School of Medicine.
