Jennifer Judge, AIA

Co-Founder Emeritus

Jennifer Judge is the co-founder of ECA and played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s growth and operations. For more than three decades, she oversaw the business side of the practice—managing staff, client relationships, and project delivery with clarity and precision. Jennifer worked closely with Cooperative and Condominium Boards as both designer and Building Architect, and she led major private and public projects, including managing a $23 million contract with NYCHA.

Now retired, Jennifer remains connected to the firm she helped build. She occasionally stops into the office to stay abreast of current work and celebrate ECA’s continued evolution. Her legacy lives on through the firm’s leadership—Lou Lipson, Eric Cohen, Liz Romano, and Rakesh Chopra—as well as the systems, processes, and high professional standards she established.

Jennifer is a licensed architect in New York and an active member of the American Institute of Architects. Before entering architecture, she majored in Business Administration at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. After arriving in New York in 1981, she worked for Sam Haffey Architects and Engineers, an early adopter of computer-aided drafting, before pursuing full-time architectural studies. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from The City College of New York, graduating summa cum laude.

Jennifer’s career is defined by her unwavering commitment to excellence, her strategic approach to project management, and her belief in building strong, lasting client relationships. Her influence remains embedded in ECA’s culture and operations.
