Eric has been with eca since 2006 and participates in both the design and consult departments, designing at a range of residential scales, helping to maintain the firm’s knowledge base, and representing some of NYC’s premier residential properties. His responsibilities include client liaison, project manager, supervisor and project coordinator.

He leads the practice on Inclusive Design issues, with a background in environment-behavior research, accessible design and design for aging and special populations. On the faculty of the New York School of Interior Design for nearly 20 years, as well as an active member of the AIA Design for Aging Committee, he maintains a presence within the broader interdisciplinary professional community, with a focus on human-centered design and education. He is founding member of the Chelsea Garden club, a volunteer organization bringing intergenerational residents together to beautify the neighborhood.
