With outdated generic finishes that were stained and showing extensive wear and dim lighting the halls were in desperate need of updating. We were tasked to upgrading the overall feel to reflect more of the buildings character while specifying materials that had to strike a balance between durability, aesthetic and cost. An oversized mirror installed in the elevator vestibule with flanking decorative sconces and accent carpet accentuates the point of arrival. More modern light fixtures with greater output installed down the halls, brighten the space and add charm. Durable and affordable running line vinyl wallcoverings used throughout in a neutral tone, set the stage for the custom carpet which recalls accent colors pulled from the lobby.
