This project is an example of how new lighting, wall finishes, trim and carpet can transform a once dark and outdated passage into a welcoming way to come and go from one's home. In addition to the incorporation of brighter, warmer finishes with subtle textures and patterns, the elevator niche was clad in custom-colored anigre panels with grey volcanic stone insets and bronze accents. Simple, modern satin brass door hardware was installed on all doors which were painted to complement the new wall covering and carpet. These interventions have added tangible value to the Building, in addition to enhancing quality of life.
